The Turtle is the most popular pet in room 5L.They are popular pets because it  has a hard shell on it and they lay their eggs under the sand. Also they can go under water. 17 students choose turtles for there pets.

Hurry!Today we are playing Tee golf.

We played golf at the field.our coaches name are Stu and Kanuel.First we had to do a warm up we have to jump and run on the ladder.

Next we played baseball we used golf clubs.We had to say left hand,right hand,feet together,left foot right foot piggy pop.And then we hit the ball.

Thirdly we had to put the golf club i n the orange hullahop .Then we had to run to base 1,2 or 3 

Next we went under the tree and talked with couch Stu about manners and kindness.

Lastly we went back to the class room I had fun at tee golf.

Have you tasted mango?

My favorite fruit is mango because it is juicy and yummy.

It gold and red out side and yellow inside.

It has a big seed in the middle of a mango.
  
Some mangoes  are an oval some are shape like a heart. The text sure of it is soft and silky.


I think mango is the most freshest fruit in the hole wide world.

My wonderful time at the beach!

In the holidays, I went swimming at the beach.with my three brothers and Ronda.

We swam and  looked for some shells and seaweeds. Next ,we dried our shells, then we went home and had a shower.

In the holidays I went swimming at the beach.  I went with my three brothers and my sister.  My sisters’ name is Rhonda and my brothers’ names are Sosefo, Kolio and Ofa.  My Dad took us to the beach. 

When we got to the beach the first thing we did was to have a swim.  It was very cold because it is the middle of winter.  But it was still lots of fun.  After we got out of the water we quickly got dry and put on our clothes to get warm.

Next we went looking for shells and seaweed along the beach.  We found ten shells and ten pieces of seaweed.  Then we played on the sand.  Rhonda, my brothers and I built lots of sandcastles.  We decorated them with shells and sticks.  They looked really cool.

Later we went home, had a shower and ate some hot food.  I like going to the beach to play.  I like it a lot.  The best part was looking for shells and seaweed together.

Making Homemade Ice Cream

On Wednesday, after morning tea, we made ice cream in Room 2 because in science we are learning how to turn liquids into solids.  We made vanilla ice cream.  First, we put the ingredients in a bowl.  Then we whipped the evaporated milk for 40 seconds.  We whipped it with an electric beater.  Then we added sugar and vanilla and beat it a little bit more.  It became creamy, thick and fluffy.  After that we put it in the freezer to set.  Finally, we tasted it and it tasted yummy.  It tasted like real ice cream from the Tip Top shop.  I feel very excited because I know how to make my own ice cream.
