Making Homemade Ice Cream


On Wednesday, after morning tea, we made ice cream in Room 2 because in science we are learning how to turn liquids into solids.  We made vanilla ice cream.  First, we put the ingredients in a bowl.  Then we whipped the evaporated milk for 40 seconds.  We whipped it with an electric beater.  Then we added sugar and vanilla and beat it a little bit more.  It became creamy, thick and fluffy.  After that we put it in the freezer to set.  Finally, we tasted it and it tasted yummy.  It tasted like real ice cream from the Tip Top shop.  I feel very excited because I know how to make my own ice cream.
