Duffy hero assembly is a lot of fun!



Today our entire school went to our school hall for a Duffy hero assembly. First we all sat down on the floor, then one of our teachers introduced our special guest. Her name was Vaimoana but most people call her Moana. She told us how much she loved Harry Potter and told us that books can take us to different places. I had a lot of fun learning about her.My favourite part was when she told us about her life reading Harry Potter because it was very interesting.
Learning Intention: We are learning to write a verbal recount.
Success Criteria: I know I can do this when I write a verbal recount about our Duffy Hero Assembly.

Here are the number of heat energy products owned by students in Room 7!


Analysis: 
  • Everyone in Room 7 has lots of electronic devices ranging from 5 to 19.
  • Most of the students in Room 7 have the same number of stove devices, ranging from 4 to 8.
  • Students in Room 7 all have cars, ranging from 1 to 5.

Learning Intention: We are learning to follow the steps of  a Statistical Investigation.
Success Criteria:I know I can do this when I categories the information that I want to collect, survey, collect data, graph data, and analyse the data that I have collected.

Wow, only 40% of the students recycle paper!


Analysis:

  • 43.8% of the students sometimes unplug their appliances when they're not using it.
  • 40% of the students recycles paper.
  • 36.8% of the students does not walk to school
  • 53.8% of the students sometimes switches off their lights when they're not using it.

Learning Intention: We are learning to follow the steps of a Statistical Investigation.
