Making a magnetic paper

L.I.-W.A.L.T.-write instructions in order.
Success Criteria:I know I can do this when I write instructions in order using action words at the beginning of the sentence how to make a magnetic paper.

                         Instructions

1.Place a white piece of paper on the floor.

2.Cut another paper into small pieces.


3.Grab a comb and rub it onto your hair till it gets warm.


4.Put the comb on the top of the paper then left it up.


5.If the small pieces of paper stuck into the comb your experiment is successful.

Let's play rippa rugby!

                             Rippa Rugby Instructions
L.I- W.A.L.T.-write instructions how to play rippa rugby.
Success Criteria-I know I can do this when I write instructions how to play rippa rugby using action words at the beginning of the sentence.


Instructions:

Steps:


1. Warm ups- running,side stepping, and passing.


2. Grab a medium size belt and tie it around your waist, get two tags and stick them on your belt.


3. Line up for groupings by saying 1,2,1,2....


4. Get a ball and when the whistle blows, the game starts.


5.Rip the tag off  the belt of one player from another team ,then pass the ball to your team mate that is behind you.


6. Remind the players that fighting, swearing and tackling are not allowed in the game.


7. Ripper Rugby includes a game of octopus where in you have to try to rip the tag off the belt and who ever  rips the tag is "in".


8. Take off your belt and tag then put it back neatly when the game is over.


9.  Say thank you to to your coach and then go back to class.

Solving division Problems×

L.I.-W.A.L.T.-solve division problems by equal sharing in orders,in ones, twos and fives.
Success Criteria-I know I can do this when I solved problems by equal sharing using division and fractions.
Problem:how many treats will be in each bag?

             

1.30 lollies shared between 5 bags =6
Skip counting-6,12,18,24,30
Repeated addition-6+6=12 6+6=12+12=24 and 24+6 =30
Fraction- 1/5 of thirty =6
Times-5×6=30 
Divide-30÷5=6
                      


2.45 lollies shared between 5 bags=9
Skip counting-9,18,27,36,45
Repeated Addition-9+9=18,9+9=18+18=36+9=45
Divide-45÷5=9
Times-5×9=45

3.35 lollies shared between 5 bags=7
Skip counting-7,14,21,28,35
Repeated addition-7+7=14,7+7=14+14=28+7=35
Times-5×7=35
Divide-35÷5=7

4. 100 lollies shared between 10=10
Skip Counting-10,20,30,40,50,60,70,80,90,100
Repeated addition-10+10=20,10+10=20+20=40,
40+40=80+20=100
Times-10×10=100
Divide-100÷10=10

How I show Tika, Pono and Aroha

L.I-W.A.L.T- show and act with tika, pono and aroha.
Success Criteria.-I know I can do this when I showed and acted with tika, pono and aroha in different places.


How do I show and act with tika, pono and aroha.

1.In the playground:
 I showed and acted with tika, pono and aroha when I let other people go first on the swing and on the slide. I showed respect by not starting a fight.

  2.In the classroom:
 I can show tika, pono and aroha when I listen and obey what my teacher says and by not talking back to the teacher. I can use and say kind words: Example
''Please'', ''Sorry'', ''Thank you'', ''Hello'', ''Welcome'', ''Good evening'', ''Good morning'', ''Congratulations''.


3.At home:
 I can show tika, pono and aroha when I listen to my parents to do something Example:wash the dishes and I stop being mean to my little brother.

How to play Hopscotch


                                             Instructions


Steps:

1. Line up in one line.

2.Throw a stone in one of the squares of the hopscotch.

3.Hop on the number squares until you get to the spot where the stone had landed.

4. Pick up the stone.

5.Jump over the number square where the stone was. 

6.Keep hopping till you reach the end.

7.Turn around.

8.Hop back all the way by passing through all the number squares.
