As Pilgrim People we are on a Life Journey!

Do you know what a pilgrim is?

L.I: Recognise how the Church as a pilgrim people is journeying to the
fullness of God’s Kingdom - Te Tino Rangatiratanga.

A pilgrim is a person who journeys to a holy place.

There are many people who go on a pilgrimage, both men and women went on a
short or a long pilgrimages. A pilgrimage is when you take a  trip to a famous
religious place. Christians and people of faith are among the many that go on
pilgrimages.

Examples of the places they go to are:

• Vatican city - Rome, Italy
• Golden Temple - Amritsar, India
• Lumbini - Rupandehi, Nepal
  

I would like to go to Rome because it is the home of the Pope and the center of the
Roman Catholic Church.
