Today my class and I had our last session of Orienteering. First we changed into our P.E gear because we didn't want to get sweat on our school uniform. After we arrived, our coaches told us what to do. We had a map in front of us and we each had a piece of paper. On our first round, I came in first place but in the second round I didn't, because I got a little bit lost. We all completed two rounds before lunchtime. I had a really fun and awesome day because I think I am pretty good at reading maps. Learning Intention: We are learning to write a verbal recount. Success Criteria: I know I can do this when I write a verbal recount to describe our last session of Orienteering.

Today my class and I had our third session of Orienteering. We had to use a map to look for the controls. Our coaches' names were Leon and Irene and they helped us to read the map correctly. Irene gave us the first map and when we had completed our first map, we were given the second map. Leon helped us if we were lost. Orienteering is fun and challenging, I can't wait until our next session. Learning Intention: We are learning to write a verbal recount. Success Criteria: I know I can do this when I record a brief recount of our third Orienteering lesson.
